Designed to transfer rolling stock from one parallel track to another. It is used on the main tracks of railway lines with mixed freight and passenger train traffic and forward speeds of passenger trains up to 200 km/h. The switch uses flexible points with welded rail ends. A cross with a continuous rolling surface and a flexible rotating core. The blades, core rails, guard rails, curved rails and frame rails are hardened with high-frequency heat. The turnout uses elastic rail fastening terminals.
