Designed to transfer rolling stock from one of the parallel tracks to another. It is used on 1st and 2nd class railway lines with mixed freight and passenger train traffic. The exit is made on the basis of turnouts of Project 2750. The turnout uses: flexible points with welded rail ends and terminals for elastic fastening of frame rails. The crosspiece is a welded structure - the rail end is welded to a core made of high-manganese steel. The counter rail is not connected to the track rail. All linings have high flanges. The blades and frame rails are HDTV hardened.
