Designed to transfer rolling stock from one of two parallel tracks to another in two directions and for the passage of rolling stock in a straight direction. Used on metro railway lines. The hands use rotating points. The crosspiece is a sharp prefabricated cast core connected to rail guardrails. The crosspiece is blunt, solid cast from high-manganese steel. The counter rails covering the harmful space of the 1/9 crosses are not connected to the track rails. All linings have high flanges. The blades and frame rails are HDTV hardened.
