Designed to transfer rolling stock from one track to another. The switch is interchangeable with the switch switch of Project 2434. The switch uses a reinforced design of the root assembly. Prefabricated crosspiece with improved mating of cast and rail parts. The counter rail is not connected to the track rail. All linings have high flanges. The blades and frame rails are HDTV hardened.
