Designed to transfer rolling stock from one track to another. It is used on subway railways. The crosspiece is a prefabricated cast core connected to rail guardrails. The counter rail is not connected to the track rail. The turnout uses elastic rail fastening terminals. The blades and frame rails are hardened with high-frequency heat.
