Designed to transfer rolling stock from one track to another. It is used on tracks of 1st and 2nd class railway lines with mixed freight and passenger train traffic and the speed limit of passenger trains on a straight track up to 160 km/h. The switch is interchangeable with the switch switch of Project 2750. The switch uses new types of spring terminals, roller devices are installed to facilitate the transfer of switches, and 3 connected strips are installed on the switch. The arrow is equipped with a headset with an external contactor of the VZ-7 type. The crosspiece is made as a monoblock. The internal (working) part consists of a monoblock cross with welded rail ends in the tail according to Project 2750 and welded rails in the front reach. Guardrails are installed externally on the monoblock crosspiece. The counter rail is not connected to the track rail and includes damping pads in the design. All linings have high flanges. The blades and frame rails are hardened with high-frequency heat.
